Chestnut class have been busy solving problems to celebrate Maths Week England. There was a lot of thinking going on but importantly they enjoyed puzzling it out!
Chestnut class made pumpkins to get them excited about our new novel study, Pumpkin Soup. They had great fun making these!
Chestnut class have been adding by making 10, using 10 frames, part whole models and number bonds. Some super concentration happening!
Chestnut Class used Rainbow Grammar to learn how to place adverbs in sentences. They were very impressive with their choice of adverbs! Next job is underline all the verbs.
Chestnut Class had lots of fun with phonics running to the correct split digraph. They were amazingly accurate. Well done!
