In RE in Willow Class we have been looking at the importance of Light at Christmas. We explored the Christian tradition of making a Christingle and learnt about what the different components represent.
Chestnut Class learn about Christenings
Chestnut class have built on their learning about christenings and baptisms. They have now started to learn about why there are certain features to the service. For example, why water is used, why there are candles and why is the font near the entrance to the church. Val performed a christening on dolly Josie. The parents and Godparents were very proud.

Learning about Sukkot in Beech Class
In RE week, Beech class learnt about the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We decided to turn the RADA hut into our own Sukkah by decorating it. Then we enjoyed eating our snacks inside.
