On Friday 21st March, Mayor Brown and Mayoress Brown came to visit us in school. The children from year 2 upwards had prepared questions and confidently asked Mayor Brown all about his role and politics in our area. The younger children asked more spontaneous questions and were very interested in the Mayor’s chain. This visit built on from our work on democracy during UK Parliament Week.

The visit coincided with Comic Relief so many children are wearing red or Comic Relief themed outfits to raise

for charity.
