On Monday Maple Class visited Warning Zone, which is an interactive experience designed to teach life skills. They learnt about E-safety, fire safety, anti social behaviour and risks associated with electricity, roads and building sites. The children loved the interactive games and learnt lots of skills for the future. We will be following this up further with Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) starting in January.

Novel Study – Skellig Launch
Maple and Cedar are studying the Skellig novel this term. To launch the book and get the children thinking about the book’s content we invited Bob Morley from the Educational Falconry team to bring in 3 of his owls. The children loved learning about them and some even got to owls to fly to them if they were wearing the special glove. 
Oak Class and Maple Class buddies meet for the first time!
The new starters in Oak Class got to meet their buddies last week. Everybody was really excited to get to know each other and we had a lovely time playing together!
